Doctor William J King Foundation
Dr William J King was a physician of southern New Jersey for four decades in which he made house calls and broke down color barriers by becoming Underwood Memorial Hospital of Woodbury's (now Inspira Medical Center) first African American physician. Due to his passing in July of 2019, a foundation was generated in honor of his lifetime achievements and dedication to the field of healthcare and medicine. The goal of the foundation is to provide financial aid and other resourceful support to college students in the field of healthcare and medicine through academic scholarships. The idea of these logos was to represent college students and health care, all while giving recognition and appreciation to Dr William J King.
